Trauma & Relationship Therapy in Conroe, TX
I'm Staci Cox, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist providing private-pay therapy for individuals, couples, teens, and families in Conroe and throughout Texas via telehealth.
I specialize in trauma, relationships, life transitions, and helping people break patterns that leave them feeling stuck.
Therapy for when you’re ready for something to change.
You don't have to have it all figured out.
You may be carrying the weight of something that happened years ago, or finding yourself caught in relationship patterns that seem impossible to break. Trust may have been damaged, communication may have become difficult, or you may simply feel disconnected from each other.
You might be functioning well on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or emotionally stuck underneath it all.
Or perhaps you know something needs to change, but you're not sure where to begin.
Therapy can offer a space to slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and begin moving forward with greater clarity and intention.
Hi, I’m Staci
I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who believes therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what's really happening—not just talk about what you think you're supposed to say.
I work with individuals, couples, teens, and families navigating trauma, relationships, life transitions, and other experiences that can leave you feeling stuck.
My goal isn't to tell you how to live your life. It's to help you better understand yourself, your relationships, and the patterns that may be getting in the way of the life you want.
Services
A space to understand yourself, work through difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.
I work with adults and teens experiencing trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other concerns affecting how they feel, think, and connect with others.
Individual Therapy
Relationships can become stuck in patterns that are difficult to break on your own.
Couples therapy can help you understand those patterns, communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and create a relationship that feels more connected and secure.
Couples Therapy
Family Therapy
When one person's struggles affect the whole family, working together can create meaningful change.
Family therapy provides a space to improve communication, navigate conflict, and better understand one another.
Specialized Support for What You're Going Through
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma can continue affecting how you feel, think, relate, and respond long after the experience itself is over. Therapy can help you process what happened and move forward without being defined by it.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
ART can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to distressing memories and experiences, often without requiring you to repeatedly talk through every detail.
First Responders
When your job requires you to stay composed through difficult situations, it can be hard to find a place where you don't have to hold everything together.
I work with first responders navigating trauma, stress, relationships, burnout, and the unique challenges that can come with the job.
Relationships & ENM
Relationships don't all look the same—and therapy shouldn't assume that they do.
I provide affirming, nonjudgmental therapy for individuals and couples navigating ethical non-monogamy, open relationships, communication, boundaries, jealousy, and relationship transitions.
My Approach
Therapy Should Feel Like a Conversation, Not a Checklist.
I believe therapy works best when you feel heard, understood, and able to be honest without judgment.
My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and trauma informed. We'll work together to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and identify practical ways to create meaningful change.
Depending on your needs, I may incorporate approaches such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and other evidence-informed techniques.
Healing doesn’t mean fixing what’s broken — it means understanding what’s been protecting you.
Finding the right therapist matters. If you're wondering whether we'd be a good fit, I'm happy to talk with you about what you're looking for and answer any questions you have.
